Who is responsible
The data controller is the business operating this website under the name Nordic Asia Tech, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Registered company details and a privacy contact are listed under Company information on this page once published. Until then, privacy requests can be sent through the contact form.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form we collect the information you provide: name, business email, optional company name, region, area of interest, project description, whether you requested a confidential discussion, and the language version of the site you used. To limit abuse, we also store a pseudonymised SHA-256 hash derived from your IP address. The hash is used only to limit the number of submissions per hour; your IP address itself is not stored.
Why and on what legal basis
Information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and to evaluate a possible engagement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Data is not sold, used for marketing lists or used for profiling.
Processors and transfers
The website, database and email notifications are operated using service providers acting as data processors under data processing terms: website hosting and delivery, a managed database where inquiries are stored, and an email delivery service that sends a notification of each new inquiry to the operator. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA; where they do, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Inquiries are stored in a database that is not publicly readable; only server-side code operated by the business can write or read them. Access to inquiries is restricted to the operator.
Retention
Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted no later than 24 months after receipt. Inquiries that lead to an engagement are kept for as long as needed for that business relationship and applicable accounting obligations.
Cookies, fonts and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and fonts are served from this website rather than from third parties. No cookie banner is therefore required.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to processing, and request data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
